Newberg Public Schools Logo

The challenge with this logo was to avoid all of the over-used symbols and figures... children, apples, pencils, school buildings and bells. The oak tree in the center (symbolizing growth and learning) is drawn from a reference photograph of a famous tree in this valley. It marks the grave of an early settler, Ewing Young.
